Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes how Park Lane Real Estate LLC, doing business as DealLevel (“DealLevel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the DealLevel websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), whether or not you have created an account. Your use of the Service is subject to this Policy and to our Terms of Service (the “Terms”). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, consent to them, including the use of the cookies, pixels, session replay, and similar technologies described in Sections 1.2 and 4.

1. Information we collect

We collect the categories of information described in this Section 1, which may include information that is linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable individual (“Personal Information”). Personal Information does not include publicly available information, including public records relating to real property, or information that has been aggregated so that it no longer identifies an individual.

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and sign-in credentials.
  • Content you submit to the Service, including property addresses, figures and assumptions, photographs, and your communications with its artificial intelligence features (the “AI Features”).
  • Payment information, which is collected and handled by our payment processor.
  • Communications with us, including feedback and requests for support.

1.2 Information collected automatically

We and the companies that help us operate the Service (“Service Providers”) use cookies, pixels, local storage, session replay, and similar technologies to maintain signed-in sessions, store preferences and information you enter, and collect device and usage information, including IP address and the approximate location derived from it; browser and device information; cookie and other identifiers; referring websites and advertisements; pages viewed and other interactions with the Service; and error and diagnostic information. Session replay records what the pages of the Service display and what you do and type on them. We also collect information regarding our communications with you, your communication preferences, and actions taken in your account.

1.3 Precise location information

With your permission, we collect the precise location of your device and use it with property records from our data providers to find nearby homes. We may disclose that location, or information derived from it, to those data providers and to our artificial intelligence Service Providers. You may withdraw that permission through your browser or device settings.

1.4 Information from other sources

We may receive information from a sign-in service you elect to use, such as Google or Apple, including your name and email address; subscription and checkout information from our payment processor; and property information, including public records, listings, and estimates, from our data providers and publicly available sources.

2. How we use information

We may use the information described in Section 1, including Personal Information and information collected before an account is created, separately or in combination, to:

  • provide, maintain, and support the Service, including to administer accounts and subscriptions, process payments, and generate reports and other output, which may display the name and telephone number in your profile;
  • analyze use of the Service, diagnose errors, improve and personalize the Service, and develop new features, products, and services;
  • send you service-related and marketing communications, and select those communications on the basis of account activity;
  • measure and deliver advertising, as described in Section 4;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with applicable law and legal process, enforce the Terms, and assert or defend legal claims; and
  • carry out any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or to which you consent.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information, including Personal Information, to the following categories of recipients:

  • Service Providers, including providers of hosting, data storage, authentication, security, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, property data, mapping, and artificial intelligence services;
  • advertising partners, as described in Section 4;
  • professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and insurers;
  • actual or prospective acquirers, successors, investors, and lenders, and their advisors, in connection with, or during the negotiation of, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of our business or assets, in whole or in part;
  • governmental authorities and other parties, where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law or legal process, to enforce the Terms, to assert or defend legal claims, to investigate fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DealLevel, our users, or others; and
  • other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We may also use and disclose aggregated information that no longer identifies an individual.

4. Cookies and advertising

Google, Meta, and Reddit are the advertising partners that collect or receive information about your activity on the Service through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. They also collect information about your activity on other websites and services over time. They use that information to measure our advertising and to show our ads on sites across the internet based on your past visits to the Service, and they may use it for other advertising purposes under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose identifiers, such as a hashed version of your email address, to them. Certain state laws refer to this activity as targeted advertising, and some may treat the disclosure of identifiers and information about online activity to advertising partners as a sale of Personal Information.

You may turn advertising cookies and pixels off for this browser on this page, and you may opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized ads through Google’s Ads Settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not load our advertising partners’ cookies or pixels in that browser.

5. Artificial intelligence features

When an AI Feature is used, we disclose content and other information relevant to that feature, which may include property addresses, figures and assumptions, photographs, and prior messages, to our artificial intelligence Service Providers, which process it to generate output and may search publicly available sources for information about a property. Certain AI Features may operate automatically, including when a property is added, opened, or changed in an account. We do not collect, use, or sell Personal Information to train large language models.

6. Your choices and state privacy rights

6.1 Account and communications

You may review and update your account information, or delete your account, in your account settings, and may review, update, or delete the content saved to your account. If you opt out of marketing email, we may continue to send non-promotional messages, including messages regarding your account, your subscription, the Terms, or this Policy.

6.2 State privacy rights

If you are a resident of a state whose privacy law applies to us and provides the following rights, you may request that we: (a) confirm whether we process your Personal Information and provide you with access to and a copy of it; (b) correct inaccuracies in it; (c) delete it; and (d) identify the third parties, if any, to which it has been sold. If you are such a resident, you may also opt out of targeted advertising, any sale of your Personal Information, and profiling in furtherance of automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

6.3 Requests and appeals

You may opt out of targeted advertising, and of the disclosures to advertising partners described in Section 4, by using the control in that Section. To exercise any other right described in Section 6.2, or to make any other request regarding your information, contact us at support@deallevel.io. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may verify your identity, and the authority of any person acting for you, before acting on a request, and may decline a request in whole or in part. If we decline a request made under Section 6.2, you may appeal by replying to our response.

7. Retention

We may retain information, whether or not it is associated with an account, for as long as applicable law permits, including after an account is closed. If you delete your account, certain information may remain, including payment and transaction records; analytics and session replay data; communications you sent to us; copies in our Service Providers’ logs and backups; and information stored in your browser.

8. Security

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials. Each photograph uploaded to or captured through the Service is stored at a web address that is accessible to any person who has that address.

9. Third-party services

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, content, or services, including sign-in services, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Content hosted by third parties, including maps, street-level imagery, and photographs, is delivered to your browser by those third parties, which may receive your IP address and information identifying the content requested. The Service uses Google Maps features and content, which are subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

10. Intended audience

The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for adults in the United States. It is not directed to children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the effective date stated above. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
